look at iMonitor? Using this single utility, you can get eDirectory health checks and a health summary, hyperlinked DSTrace, eDirectory configuration information, eDirectory activity and verb statistics, reports, error information, object and schema browsing, DirXML monitoring, and more.

 

Encrypted traffic? NICI? (TCPIP) also a little more about NICI - Doesn't appear to be possible (at least not easy).

File access benchmarks!!! (stuff gets slow when large file copies are going on)
Changer server certificate from IP address to FQDN
Ensure that iFolder and NetStorage only work through SSL.
