I honestly don't know if anyone here will ever really use ExteNd, but nonetheless, I had installed it with our initial installation and at least wanted to know what it was/how to use it. According to LinuxWorld, exteNd is a "...services-oriented application development suite."

Apparently most of the administration tasks are done through the SMC (Server Management Console), which appears to modify the smc.props file , but some settings are in the httpd.props file as well (located in SYS:\exteNd\AppServer\Resources\). Run the SMC from the GUI by clicking on Novell -> exteNd Application Server -> SMC. You can also do some command line stuff by typing smc at the console screen (smc -help to list the options).
